Akron, Ohio-Senior Colin Clemente is the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week after a impressive second place finish Tuesday at the Xavier Invitational.
Clemente claimed his best finish so far this fall firing 6-under par in the third round and shooting 204 (69-69-66) overall on the par-72, 6,921-yard course. Clemente was the only Zip during the event to shoot all three rounds under par.
The team finished seventh overall.
The Zips will return to the links Sunday, Oct. 7 for the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, GA.
