MORGANTOWN, W.Va. The University of
Akron tennis team closed out its competition at the Martha Thorne

event was hosted by the University of West Virginia.
UA's Laura Hemlepp (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson
HS) was defeated 6-3, 6-1 in the "C" singles final by A. Pilsbury

No. 1 doubles team, while Hemlepp and Langworth faced its No. 3
duo.
