Men's Golf Concludes Fall Season at WKU Kenny Perry Invitational

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron men's golf team will concluded the 2012 fall season on Sunday when it travels to Bowling Green, Ky., for the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational.
The Zips return to action just five days after finishing fourth at The Firestone Invitational, Presented by FirstEnergy Solutions, on Oct. 9. Freshman Ryan Harris earned his first collegiate top-5 finish with a score of 142 (-2), put him in a tie for fifth place in the field of 90 golfers.
Akron will face off against Austin Peay, Belmont, Charleston Southern, Eastern Kentucky, No. 84 Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Monroe, No. 73 Louisville, Morehead State, Tennessee Tech, Troy and tournament-host Western Kentucky.
The Zips enter the event ranked No. 79 in the Oct. 10 Golfstat rankings. That's the highest ranking for Akron since reaching No. 89 in April 2011. Akron also ranks No. 97 in the Golfweek Top-100 while Charlie Bull is No. 73 in the individual Golfweek rankings.
Play is set to begin on Sunday with 9:00 a.m. ET tee times. Play on Monday will also start at 9:00 a.m. while the final round will tee off at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Fans can follow all of the action live via Golfstat Live Scoring.
