AKRON, Ohio – Akron Zips men's golf team will travel to Kennesaw, Ga., on Monday for its final event of the fall schedule, the Pinetree Intercollegiate, at the par-72, 7,108-yard Pinetree Country Club.
This year's field features three Golfstat top-100 teams in No. 18 East Carolina, No. 34 Kennesaw State and No. 89 Miami (Ohio). The rest of the field includes teams from Cincinnati, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville State, Liberty, Lipscomb, Ohio and Western Carolina.

Tuesday's final round will also begin at 8:10 a.m., with players teeing off from the first and tenth tees. Fans can follow all the action live online via Golfstat Live Scoring.
The Zips are coming off a 12th-place finish at the rain-shortened Sagamore Fall Preview on October 14.
The field battled rain on day one but was able to complete the first two rounds of the event. With the cancelation of the final round, Illinois won the event with a total score of 570 (-6). The Zips finished with a team score of 614 (+38).
Akron looks to build on a strong showing at the 2013 Pinetree Intercollegiate. The Zips finished in fourth place at last year's event, led by then-sophomore Ryan Harris.
Harris finished in second place with a 54-hole score of 215 (-1), including a course- and tournament-record tying 7-under 65 during the first round. Then-senior Charlie Bull finished tied for sixth place (217, +1).
As a team, the Zips posted two rounds of even-par 288, tied for the third-lowest team rounds in the brief two-year history of the event.
