2017 ZIPS' SUMMER TEE-OFF GOLF OUTING BROCHURE (PDF)
AKRON, Ohio -Â In collaboration with the University of Akron athletics department, the Zips' women's basketball, women's golf, and swimming and diving programs will host the second annual Zips' Summer Tee-Off golf outing on May 22, 2017 at Portage Country Club, presented by PNC.
Building upon the success of the inaugural event a year ago, head coaches, Jodi Kest (women's basketball) and Jenny King (women's golf) will be joined by Zips' head swimming and diving coach, Brian Peresie, this year to help broaden the outing's reach to the community.
Registration for the Zips' Summer Tee-Off will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch at noon, and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Socializing with heavy appetizers, drinks, and awards will follow play.Â
The Zips' Summer Tee-Off golf outing is an opportunity for the three programs to connect with their supporters, alumnae, and friends to help achieve their overall goal of enhancing the Akron experience for the women's basketball, women's golf, and swimming and diving student-athletes.
