Zips Earn CSC Academic All-District Women's Soccer Accolades

AKRON, Ohio – The 2024 Academic All-District® women's soccer team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognized University of Akron women's soccer players redshirt senior Katie Stafford (Gahanna, Ohio), seniors Quinn Casey (Powell, Ohio) and Ella Hadley (Concord, Ohio) and sophomores Kiana Harsh (Waterville, Ohio), Hannah Langstaff (Washington, Ill.), Jordanne Oberhaus (Wadsworth, Ohio) and Anna Simmons (Manassas, Va.) for their achievements for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 11, 2024.
