Thirteen Zips Earn CRCA Scholastic All-America Accolades

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron rifle team garnered 13 Scholastic All-America accolades when the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association recently unveiled its 2023-24 selections.
The list of honorees for the Zips includes; redshirt seniors Katie Paltz (Edison, N.J.), Jakob Rankin (Granbury, Texas) and Brendan Seitz (Milford, Mass.), seniors Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio), Erin Schnupp (Gorham, Maine) and Samantha Shultz (Fort Wayne, Ind.), juniors Rachel Engels (Meridian, Idado), Alexis Kirk (Clarence Center, N.Y.) and Cory Stroupe (Brasstown, N.C.), sophomores Andrew Duross (Marlborough, Mass.), Rachael Paddock (Perry, N.Y.) and Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.) and freshman Elizabeth Lilly (Marble Falls, Texas).
To be eligible for Scholastic All-American honors, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year.
