Akron Unveils Complete 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

2025 AKRON WOMEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE | PURCHASE SINGLE-GAME TICKETS
AKRON, Ohio -Â The University of Akron women's soccer team released a challenging 2025 fall schedule, head coach Maggie Kuhn announced today.
In 2025, the Zips' schedule features nine home games at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Zips kick off its 25th season of intercollegiate women's soccer traveling to Purdue Fort Wayne (Aug. 14) for a non-conference showdown with the Mastodons before welcoming Eastern Illinois (Aug. 17) to FirstEnergy Stadium for Akron's home opener. The Zips travel to West Virginia (Aug. 21) for the first-ever regular season meeting between the two programs before closing out the month of August hosting Southern Indiana (Aug. 24) and Green Bay (Aug. 31).
The month of September includes a non-conference tilt at Dayton (Sept. 12) before the Zips commence their Mid-American Conference schedule welcoming UMass (Sept. 18) to FirstEnergy Stadium. Akron then travels to Ohio (Sept. 21) and Northern Illinois (Sept. 25) before closing the month on its home pitch against Miami (Sept. 28).

The Zips kick off the month of October visiting 2024 MAC Tournament champion Buffalo (Oct. 2). Additionally, Akron welcomes Kent State (Oct. 5), Central Michigan (Oct. 9) and Western Michigan (Oct. 23) to FirstEnergy Stadium, while facing road tests at Ball State (Oct. 12), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 19) and Bowling Green (Oct. 26).

The Zips close out their league slate hosting Toledo (Oct. 29).
The 2025 MAC Women's Soccer Tournament will be held at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 1-7, 2025.

The Zips took to the pitch for the initial time on Aug. 5 when Akron visited Oakland in the first of two exhibition matches before traveling to Cleveland State (Aug. 10) to round out the exhibition campaign.
