Brady Bowen Named to the Baseball America All-America Team

AKRON, Ohio – Brady Bowen earned his fourth All-America honor as Baseball America announced its Freshman All-American selections on Thursday, June 25.
Bowen was recently named an Honorable Mention All-American by the College Baseball Foundation while being named to the NCBWA All-America Third Team on Wednesday, June 10, after being named to the Freshman All-America Team on Monday, June 8.
Playing in the field and pitching for the Zips this past season, he recorded a .391 batting average in 40 appearances and 28 starts. He recorded 36 hits, seven doubles, three home runs, 21 RBI, 15 walks and eight stolen bases. On the mound, he tossed 53.1 innings, allowing 53 hits, 33 runs, 28 earned, walking 20 and striking out 41. He held opposing batters to a .264 average and was third on the pitching staff with a 4.73 ERA.
