KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Akron men's cross country's Noah Nyageo earned a victory in the 8K race at WMU's George Dales Invitational.
The sophomore ran a time of 23:56.0 and also won the 6K Tommy Evans Invitational two weeks ago. As a squad, the Zips placed fourth with 96 points.
Held at The Prairies Golf Club — the same site of this year's MAC Championships — Titus Kirui earned a top-five finish by placing third in a time of 24:22.8.
Majid Abuaun hit a PR of 25:03.0 to take eighth, while Quinn Hopkins was 33rd (26:08.3, PR). Rowan Smith (27:02.3) rounded out the Zips' finishers by placing 70th.
