MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — The Akron men's soccer team's match against West Virginia was ruled a no contest due to inclement weather.
After a goal kick 43 seconds into the second half, a weather delay was called which ultimately halted the match for good.
No official statistics were kept in the no contest, but the Zips did hold a 1-0 lead before the match was called off. Matthew Paiva scored on a header from Tyler Morck, and Brett Kaminski also made four saves in net.
