As a Freshman: MAC Championships: Set the program record in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.34) at the MAC Championships for a first-place finish … at the MAC Championships swam a 1:02.54 in the 100 breaststroke for the fourth-best time in program history … finished seventh in the 200 IM (2:02.22) at the championships … Duals: recorded a season-best and program sixth-best time of 55.58 in the 100 Butterfly at the LE Senior Meet (March.6-8). Prior to Akron: Competed at Escuelas Deportivas de Merida ... earned trips to the European Championships in Belgrado in 2011 and 2012 ... in 2012, placed 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke and 7th in the 400-yard IM ... was a four-year winner (20011-14) in the 100 and 200 breast at the Junior Spanish Championships ... recorded three silver place finishes at the 2014 Spanish Winter Championships, coming in the 50, 100 and 200 breast.
