As a Junior: Named to the Academic All-MAC team … Invitationals: Recorded a season-best 1:04.81 time to place 10th in the 100 breaststroke at the Zippy Invitational (Dec. 4-6) … finished with a season-fastest time of 2:23.52 for a 14th-place finish in the 200 breaststroke at the Zippy Invitational.
As a Sophomore: MAC Championships: posted a personal-best time of 1:04.78 in the 100 breaststroke at the MAC Championships which sits as the ninth-best time in program history … at the MAC Championships, swam a program seventh-best time of 2:21.34 in the 200 breaststroke beating her best time by five seconds … at the championships, swam the 200 IM in 2:08.79 … Duals: finished in fourth place at the UA vs. XU/MU dual in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.91). Honors: Academic All-MAC.
as a Freshman (2013-14): Owned personal top times in 100 breaststroke (1:05.58) and 200 breaststroke (2:26.79).
At Lawrence North High School: Earned four varsity letters in swimming … qualified for Sr. State, Central Zones, and Speedo Sectionals in 2009 and 2011 … qualified for Minnesota Grand Prix in 2009, and Indianapolis Grand Prix in 2011 … school was four-time Sectional Champions ... set individual high school record in 100 breaststroke … member of two-time school record-setting 200 medley relay…also set sectional and pool records individually for 100 breaststroke and as a member of 200 medley relay … her 200 medley relay team placed first in the Marion County Championships as a freshman and sophomore as well as first in the sectional championship her sophomore year … was an all-MIC Athlete and NISCA All-American Athlete as a freshman and senior … placed first in Marion County Championship in 100 breaststroke as a junior and senior … placed first in the sectional championship individually in 200 IM and 100 breaststroke as a senior, as well as in 200 medley relay and 200 free relay where she was a state qualifier in all four of those events.
Personal: Daughter of John and Dianne Weiss … has three siblings, Katie, John, and Christopher … her brother, Christopher, was a pole vaulter for Purdue University.
