Devan Morrow enters his fourth season with the Zips.

Prior to being named an assistant coach, Morrow served as a graduate assistance

He comes to Akron from Ohio State University where he served as a student manager for three seasons under head coach Chris Holtmann. Prior to and while working as a manager for the Buckeyes, Morrow interned with Pure Sweat Basketball and trainer Drew Sloan in Columbus. While with the Buckeyes, Morrow had the opportunity to work with future NBA signees Duane Washington Jr. and EJ Lidell.

While as a graduate assistant at Akron, Morrow played a key role in the development of Enrique Freeman, Ali Ali and Greg Tribble who all were All-MAC selections their senior years. Freeman was ultimately drafted by the Pacers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. Morrow is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended St. Edward High School.
