COLUMBUS, Ohio – Akron senior Paulina Nogaj (Radom, Poland) registered the NCAA 15th fastest time and second in Akron program history in the 100-yard butterfly as the Zips capyured all three medals and place first in the 200-yard medley relay at The Ohio State Winter Invite on Friday-Sunday, Feb. 11-13 at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion hosted by the buckeyes.

Nogaj flew to a NCAA B-Cut 51.97 time in the 100 Fly, while senior Sarah Watson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) placed second overall with a 52.66 NCAA B-Cut time and freshman Rebecca Reid () claimed third with a 54.92 time.

The 200-yard medley relay team started the day with a win as sophomore Madelyn Gatrall (25,44, Windsor, Ontario, Canada), senior Paula Garcia (27.39, Madrid, Spain), Nogaj (23.19) and Watson (22.24) clocked a 1:38.26 time.

Akron is not scheduled to compete during the final day of the OSU Winter Invite and will be back in action on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 23-26 for the Mid-American Conference Champiionships in Bowling Green, Ohio.
