AKRON, Ohio - The Akron Swimming and Diving team returns to action with a trip to Columbus, Ohio., to face No. 11Â Ohio State and Kentucky on Saturday, October 19.

Akron began the year hosting the Zips Classic and took first place with 1345, defeating the next closest team by over 500 points.
Madelyn Gatrall was named the Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week after claiming gold in six events at the Zips Classic.
Ohio State begins the 2024-25 season hosting Akron and Kentucky and finished second at the Big 10 Championships last season.
