Akron Diving Set to Compete at the NCAA Diving Zones This Week

AKRON, Ohio - The Akron diving team will head to Ohio State to compete in the NCAA Zones at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion from Monday, March 10-Wednesday, March 12.

A live stream will be available on B1G+ ($).

The meet will take place Monday, March 10-Wednesday, March 12. The 3-meter event is set to start at 1 p.m. while the 1-meter event will start at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Wednesday will feature platform diving starting at 11 a.m.

Akron will be represented by Laurel Smith and Elizabeth Noble.

To qualify for the NCAA Diving Championships, divers must place in the top seven in the 1-meter event and top 11 in the 3-meter event. Selected divers will be announced on Thursday, March 13.

The women's championships will be held at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington, from Wednesday, March 19 to Saturday, March 22.

March 19-22 will be streamed on ESPN+.
