Akron Rifle Leads Nation with 12 Zips Named CRCA Scholastic All-America Honorees

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron rifle team garnered a national-best 12 Scholastic All-America accolades when the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association recently unveiled its 2024-25 selections.

The Zips were tied with Ole Miss for the most selections nationally this season.
The list of honorees for the Zips includes; redshirt seniors Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio), Sally Reeke (Clifton, Va.) and Erin Schnupp (Gorham, Maine), seniors Rachel Engels (Meridian, Idado), Alexis Kirk (Clarence Center, N.Y.) and Cory Stroupe (Brasstown, N.C.), juniors Logan McClimans (Jamestown, Pa.), Rachael Paddock (Perry, N.Y.) and Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.), sophomores Diane Heschel (Oak Harbor, Ohio) and Elizabeth Lilly (Marble Falls, Texas) and freshman Kiley Jones (Colorado Springs, Colo.).
To be eligible for Scholastic All-American honors, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher for the 2024-25 academic year.
