Akron WBB's Sarah Jones Participates in TopConnect Symposium

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Akron women's basketball assistant coach Sarah Jones was selected to participate in the 2025 TopConnect Basketball Symposium that was held on Monday (June 9) at the Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista.
The symposium was sponsored by Teamworks and VanWagner. TopConnect, now in its eighth year, was developed by East Tennessee State Director of Athletics Dr. Richard Sander to identify the top assistant basketball coaches in the country and provide networking and leadership development opportunities.
The 2025 event included Athletic Directors, Mark Benson, University of Albany; Anthony Henderson, Hampton University; Mark Wharton, University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, Nico Yantko of Murray State University, and Jon Schemmel of University of South Dakota.
