Akron Athletics Announces Kick Times for Two Games in 2025

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Athletics Department and the football program released kick times for two additional home games for 2025 season, including second home game of the season versus Duquesne (Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.) and the Homecoming and Family Weekend game against Central Michigan (Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m.).
The Akron Zips are scheduled to battle the Duquesne Dukes at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Health Field on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.
The University of Akron Homecoming and Family Weekend will be Friday-Sunday, Oct. 3-5. On Saturday Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m. the Blue and Gold will share InfoCision Stadium – Summa Health Field with Central Michigan.
Both games are scheduled to be appear on ESPN+.
Akron opens the 2025 season in the Rubber City on Thursday, Aug. 28 at InfoCision Stadium Summa Health Field against Wyoming at 7 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
The Zips are on the road for the second and third games of the season, traveling to Lincoln, Neb. to battle the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network (subscription may be required), followed by a trip to Birmingham, Ala. to play Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
Additional contests with announced game times are as follows:
On Tuesday, Nov. 4 the Zips host UMass at InfoCision Stadium Summa Health Field at 7 p.m. The game is scheduled to be broadcasted on ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network.
The following week on Tuesday, Nov. 11 is the battle for the Wagon Wheel as the Zips host rival Kent State for the annual showdown at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The final regular season game for Akron is scheduled to be played at Bowling Green on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. on ESPN2, ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.
The Zips open league play on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Toledo with game times and TV broadcast to be announced.
All remaining game times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game. Games will air on ESPN networks (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN+) and CBS Sports Network.
