MAC Releases 2025-26 Women's Basketball Schedule

2025-26 AKRON WBB SCHEDULE | PURCHASE SEASON TICKETS
AKRON, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference today unveiled the 2025-26 league slate for the University of Akron women's basketball program.
Akron under the direction of third-year head coach Ryan Gensler will kick off its 52nd season of intercollegiate basketball visiting South Alabama (Nov. 3) as part of the Sun Belt-MAC Challenge.
The Zips commence their league schedule hosting Ball State (Dec. 31) before back-to-back road contests at Ohio (Jan. 3) and Western Michigan (Jan. 7).
Akron also welcomes Miami (Jan. 10), Central Michigan (Jan. 21) and Buffalo (Jan. 31) to James A. Rhodes Arena during the month, while traveling to UMass (Jan. 14), Kent State (Jan. 17) and Bowling Green (Jan. 28).
Akron kicks off the month of February hosting Toledo (Feb. 4). The Zips then step out of conference for a home game as part of the second leg of the SBC-MAC Challenge on Feb. 7. Additionally, the Zips welcome Ohio (Feb. 18) and rival Kent State (Feb. 21) to the JAR, while visiting Central Michigan (Feb. 11), Northern Illinois (Feb. 14), Ball State (Feb. 25) and Miami (Feb. 28).
The Zips close out their league slate hosting UMass (March 4) and Eastern Michigan (March 7).
The conference tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday-Saturday, March 11-14 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
Women's basketball season ticket plans are available for the upcoming season in the general admission seating only for $60 per seat for every home game. A season parking pass is included with the purchase of the season ticket plan.
