SCOUTING AKRON
The Zips posted a 5-3 victory over Southern Indiana on Sunday (Aug. 24) at FirstEnergy Stadium, to move to 2-1-1 on the campaign.
Freshman Addison Hall (Manchester, Conn.) leads the Zips in goals (1), while seniors Emma King (Akron, Ohio) and Kylie Schiemann (Geneva, Ohio) along with freshmen Fineen Cregan (Rochester, N.Y.) and Luisa Fragnoli (Medina, Ohio) have each tallied a goal. King directs the squad in shots (12) and shots on goal (8). Cregan, senior Rielly Chesna (Chicago, Illinois), Hall, King, sophomore Allie McMillen (Shreve, Ohio) and junior Jordanne Oberhaus (Wadsworth, Ohio) own two, one, one, one, one and one assist, respectively, for Akron. Junior goalkeeper Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio) and redshirt freshman GK Ariana Vakos have registered 13 and three saves, respectively, on the campaign en route to posting a pair of shutouts and recording a 1.50 goals against average.
