Zips Enter Final Round Fifth in Team Scoring, Vora Third Overall

Richmond, Ky. – The Akron Zips women's golf team posted rounds of 322 (+34) and 313 (+25) for a 635 (+59) team total to enter the final round of the 2026 Colonel Classic ranked fifth in team scoring while Hridhika Vora is third overall on players' leaderboard at

at the University Club at Arlington (Par 72 • 6,069 yards).

Vora is competing as an individual and opened the tournament with a 79 (+7) 18-hole score followed by a 1-over par 73 stroke performance in the second round. After 36 holes of play, Vora owns an 152 (+8) ledger which stands third overall amongst the players in the field. She registered 20 par scores and five birdies on the day.

Emily Liptak and Kaitlin Kormuth lead the Zips' team scoring with a pair of 157 (+13) scores. Liptak carded a 78 (+7) opening round score and followed with a 79 (+8) tally, while Kormuth posted scores of 81 (+9) and 76 (+4) totals. Both, Liptak and Kormuth are tied for 17th overall.

Maisarah Hezri enters the final 18-hole round of competition ranked 27th overall with a 82-78 – 160 (+16) total, while Sohniya Chandra Mohan and Goethe Na Songkhla entered

83-80 – 163 (+19) and 81-84 – 165 (+27) for 37th and 48th overall rankings, respectively.

Katrin Danielsdottir rounded out the scoring for Akron with a 183 (+19) mark as an individual.

The final 18-hole round is scheduled for a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with Akron opening play from holes No. 5 through 9 with Liptak starting on No. 5 followed by Kormuth (6), Hezri (7), Chandra Mohan (8), Na Songkhla (9), Danielsdottir (15, Ind.) and Vora (16B, Ind.).
