Jebitok Captures Second Team All-America Honors at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. -Â University of Akron redshirt freshman Mercy Jebitok (Kapsabet, Kenya) garnered Second Team All-America honors on the strength of a 12th-place finish in the women's 10,000 meters on Thursday (June 11) at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

• Jebitok captured All-America accolades for the first time crossing the line in a school- and Mid-American Conference record time of 32:26.81.
