11 Zips Garner CSC Academic All-District Honors for Track and Field/Cross Country

AKRON, Ohio – The 2025-26 Academic All-District® men's and women's track and field/cross country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognized University of Akron redshirt senior Cassidy Allen (Lakewood, N.Y.), seniors Vanessa Horn (Ludwigsfelde, Germany) and Benjamin Hudak (Tallmadge, Ohio), juniors Majid Abuaun (Rocky River, Ohio), Bram de Raedt (Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium), Megan Hipple (Warren, Ohio), Jessica Mason (Holland, Ohio) and Christopher Vance (Parma, Ohio) and sophomores Ava Fleetwood (Shawnee, Kan.), Kaden Rambatt (Sharon, Wis.) and Shania Thomas (Bridgetown, Barbados) for their achievements for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Student-athletes are to be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Only individual ranked performances are used for eligibility which for cross country is a top 50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year. For track and field, it is a top 50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor).
