Vora, Liptak and Chandra Mohan Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference released its 2025-26 Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Team as The University of Akron women's golf program had three selections on Monday, June 8.
In all, 38 student-athletes from nine conference institutions were honored including Akron seniors Hridhika Vora (Mumbai, Maharashtra) and Emily Liptak (Akron, Ohio) along with sophomore Sohniya Chandra Mohan (Selangor, Malaysia).
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport and have been at residence at their school for one year. True freshman and first-year transfer student-athletes are not eligible.
