As a Junior (2013): Enrolled at Akron in January 2013 and participated in spring practice ... saw limited action in the season opener at Central Florida.

As a Sophomore (2012 at ASA CC): Played at the guard, tackle, and center positions in 2012 ... starter in every game ... program closed out the season ranked fifth in the NJCAA poll, after posting a 9-1 record and making the program's first ever bowl appearance (Carrier Dome Bowl) ... part of an offense that closed the season ranked tied for 11th nationally in total offense per game (435.3) and fifth in rushing yards per game (250.8) ... also attended Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz.

High School: Did not concentrate on football until his senior year at Simeon Career Academy... competed in basketball as well.
