as a Redshirt Junior (2014): Pitched in 12 games, making one start … owned a 7.79 ERA and a record of 0-1 with one save in 17.1 innings pitched … walked 14 and struck out 12 … allowed only five extra base hits … struck out three batters in just as many innings against Winthrop (Feb. 16) … threw a pair of scoreless innings against both Pittsburgh (April 8) and Youngstown State (April 22) … matched his season-high three innings on the mound in a game at Wright State (April 30) and was awarded a save after allowing three hits, no runs and striking out three.

as a Redshirt Sophomore (2013): Made 11 starts for the rotation and appeared in a total of 13 games on the mound … had a record of 2-8 with an 8.24 ERA over 43.2 innings pitched … made the season opening start against No. 21 Georgia Tech, and pitched 4.1 innings with one run allowed … registered three starts with five or more innings against No. 4 Louisville (Feb. 22), USC Upstate (March 10), and Penn State (May 7) .. tallied 30 strikeouts, second on the pitching staff … recorded a single game high of seven strikeouts against USC Upstate (March 10).

as a Freshman (2011): Pitched for a 3-3 record as the midweek starter ... held an era of 4.19 in nine starts and four relief appearances ... struck out 30 in 43.0 innings pitched ... held batters to a .256 average ... shutout Youngstown State (April 5) over 4.0 innings ... struck out a season-high six in 4.0 innings of work at Malone (April 20) ... pitched 4.0 scoreless innings against West Virginia (May 10) ... allowed just one hit in 1.1 innings of work in his collegiate debut at Mississippi State (Feb. 18).

at Waterloo HS: Went 6-3, with 77 strikeouts as a senior ... was named the team MVP in 2010 after leading Waterloo to a district title ... went 5-0 as a sophomore, as Waterloo compiled a record of 21-4 ... struck out 185 batters in his career ... also a standout in the classroom, totaling 11 academic-athlete awards, as well as being a member of the National Honor Society.
