as a Redshirt Freshman (2013): Started in three games and appeared in five total games as the catcher … batted .222 (2-for-9) … registered base hits in games against Quinnipiac (March 16) and Kent State (May 18) … caught one would be base stealer … did not allow a passed ball.

Prior to UA: Batted .390 with 13 doubles and 30 RBIs in his senior season at Triway ... also went 16-2 in his high school career on the mound ... was twice named first-team all-league ... was also named to the all-district team in his junior and senior season.
