Jordan Amati is entering his first season with the University of Akron.
Prior to joining the Zips, Amati was a student manager at his alma mater of West Virginia for 4 years. During his time with the Mountaineers, Amati assisted player development, scouting, food operations, and much more around the facility. Amati also assisted in the player development for multiple future NBA signees including Miles McBride, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Jalen Bridges. During the summers, Amati volunteered in Colorado Springs and Las Vegas with Team USA Men’s Basketball Training Camp for the Olympics, FIBA World Cup team, and U18 National Team. During the 2024 All-Star Break Amati interned as a Player Marketing Assistant and Player Liason for Jaylen Brown and Julius Irving in Indianapolis.
Amati graduated from West Virginia in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in general business.
