Jenna Sullivan joined The University of Akron in June of 2025 as an Assistant volleyball coach.
Sullivan most recently served as an assistant coach at Jacksonville State from 2023-24. At Jax State, she oversaw operations, setter training, academic support, and supporting student-athletes with day-to-day nutrition needs.
Prior to her time in Jacksonville, Ala., Sullivan served as the Associate Head Coach at Upper Iowa in Fayette, Iowa. She coached the program’s first AVCA All-American, helped the team earn its highest national ranking in program history, and the most conference wins to date. At Upper Iowa, she trained all position groups, and oversaw all operations and recruiting efforts, bringing in the program’s all-time assist leader and its only middle blocker to reach 1,000 career kills. She also coached three seasons with 6 Pack Volleyball Club out of Cedar Falls.
Before Upper Iowa, she spent time at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, serving as the assistant women’s volleyball coach and assistant director of athletic communications.
Sullivan played at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota as an outside hitter, where she was a two-year captain and served on the board of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for two years. At Saint Mary's she posted 487 kills, 597 digs, 54 aces, and 47 blocks. She was a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team selection in 2012 and was a MIAC Playoff All-Tournament Team honoree in 2014.
