Akron – After a 10-days of practice and preparation, the Akron women's golf team is ready to begin its second event of the season on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25, at the 33rd annual Mary Fossum Invitational. Michigan State will host the 54-hole event at the Par 72 Forest Akers West Golf Course that stretches 6,236 yards.

"Our preparation has been great this past week, and I believe the team will be ready to compete.
