AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is set to compete for the 2022 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships on Friday through Sunday, April 22-24 hosted by Toledo at Stone Oak Country Club in Holland, Ohio.

The 2021 MAC women's golf championships is scheduled for 54-holes of competition over the three-day span, starting on Friday, April 22 at the par 72, 6,158-yard course. The opening round and Saturday's second round of the MAC season finale are slated for a 9 a.m. starts with tee times in 10 minute intervals. Sunday's final round is scheduled for tee times off holes No. 1 and 10 starting at 9 and 9:30 a.m. with 10-minute intervals, respectively. In addition, fans can follow the final round action on ESPN3 beginning at noon. All women's golf championship information can be found on the MAC Tournament Central page. The 10-team field is headlined by Kent State with a No. 45 GolfStat ranking followed by Northern Illinois (155), Central Michigan (168), Eastern Michigan (181), Akron (186), Toledo (191), Western Michigan (217), Bowling Green (219), Ball State (221) and Ohio (235).

The Zips' starting five includes junior Jacinta Pikunas (Youngstown, Ohio), sophomore Jennifer David (Hudson, Ohio), junior Ivana Shah (Mumbai, India), sophomore Jessica Hahn (Canton, Ohio) and graduate student Ke'Asha Phillips (Owensboro, Ky.).

Akron is scheduled to start the round from hole No. 1 at 10:40 a.m. with Williams (5) followed by Hahn (10:50), Shah (11:00), David (11:10) and Pikunas (11:20).
