Akron Enters Final Round of Lady Jaguar Invitational

Carmel, Ind. – The Akron golf team registered a 313 (+23) opening round team score at the 2024 Lady Jaguar Invitational hosted by IUPUI at the Plum Creek Golf Course (Par 72, 6,157 Yards) on Saturday.
Senior Abbi Fleiner and sophomore Avery Wright led the Zips scoring efforts with a pair of 77 (+5) scores. Fleiner carded 10 par scores with a pair of birdies, while Wright recorded 12 par scores and one birdie. Both players enter the final 18-hole round tied for 24th overall.
Senior Jessica Hahn and sophomore Hridhika Vora added 79 (+7) and 80 (+8), ranking 42nd and 48th overall, respectively. Freshman Katrin Horn Danielsdottir rounded out the Zips scoring with a 87 (+15) opening round.
The final round is scheduled for 8:30 a.am as Akron will start from the hole No. 1 tee box with Danielsdottir leading the way followed by Vora (8:39), Hahn (8:48), Wright (8:57) and Fleiner (9:06).
