Akron Opens Play at the 2025 Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge

Akron, Ohio. – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back in action on Monday (March 31), Tuesday (April 1) and Wednesday (April 2) at the 2025 Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, S.C. hosted by Golfweek.
The Course
All 54 holes will be played on the 6,054-yard, par-71 Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.
Tournament Format
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is scheduled for 18 holes of play each day. Fans can follow the action live via GolfStat Live Scoring. Tee time for the opening round (Monday) are scheduled to begin at 7:40 a.m. from holes No. 1 and No. 10.

The field consists of 15 teams including, Akron, Coastal Carolina, Evansville, Fairleigh Dickinson, Marshall, Morehead State, Mount St. Mary's, Middle Tennessee State, North Carolina Asheville, Ohio, South Carolina Upstate, Stephen F. Austin State, Stonehill, Towson and Winthrop.

The Zips starting five consists of Sohniya Chandra Mohan, Maisarah Hezri, Emily Liptak, Daphne Van Son and Hridhika Vora. Monday morning tee times for Akron are from the first tee box as follows: Vora (7:51), Van Son (8:02), Liptak (8:13), Hezri (8:24) and Chandra Mohan (8:35).
