Johnny Anservitz Signs With the Florence Y'alls

AKRON, Ohio - Former Akron baseball pitcher Johnny Anservitz joined the pro ranks on Thursday, June 12, when he signed with the Florence Y'alls of the Frontier League.
Anservitz, who played for the Zips in 2025, made 20 appearances in relief for the Blue and Gold while picking up two wins and a team-leading six saves over 26 innings of work. Anservitz's six saves is the most a Zip has recorded since the program returned in 2020. Johnny also recorded 32 strikeouts while holding opposing batters to a .153 average.
