10 Zips Named to the All-MAC Baseball Academic Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference released the 2025 Baseball All-MAC Academic Team on Monday, June 16, as Brett Dietrich, Charlie Schebler, Jack Poist, Josiah Ross, Jared Schaeffer, Austin Lafferty, Ian Pennington, Andrew Horvath, Jack Kelley and Max Bowman all received honors.
Akron was one of seven schools to place 10 or more student-athletes on the All-MAC Academic Team team in 2025.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. First-year students and any transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
