The University of Akron Athletics
Zips For A Decade — 10 Years on Us
October 09 | Football
AKRON, Ohio — The University of Akron department of athletics will reward its most loyal student season-ticket holders with an exciting new benefit which extends well into the future.
Any student who scans in for the final four home games at InfoCision Stadium — Summa Health Field will automatically receive a free general admission football season ticket for the next 10 years after they graduate from the University.
"Our students are an important part of the energy and identity of Akron Athletics, and we want that relationship to extend well beyond their time on campus," Director of Athletics Dr. Andrew T. Goodrich said. "If you show up for the Zips now, we're going to show up for you after graduation. Attend our final four home games this season and your football season ticket is on us for the next 10 years after you graduate. We want today's students to become tomorrow's season ticket holders, donors and lifelong Zips, and there's no better way to build that connection than by giving them a reason to keep coming home to InfoCision Stadium."
