NCAA Selection Show Watch Party at JAR on Sunday

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron will hold an NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party for its Mid-American Conference Tournament champion men's basketball team on Sunday (March 15) at James A. Rhodes Arena with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. and the show starting at 6 p.m. Parking for the event is free in Lots 1, 2, 8 and 13.
The second-seeded Akron Zips defeated fourth-seeded Toledo Rockets, 79-76, on Saturday at Rocket Arena in Cleveland to earn the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Zips 2026 MAC Championship win stands as the first time in MAC history a program won three-straight MAC titles.
Fans can choose their seats on the west side of the arena to watch the 6 p.m. Selection Show broadcast on CBS, which will also be shown on the JAR video board.
Members of the men's basketball program, which is appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in program history (1986, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026) will be on hand to watch the Selection Show with Zips fans.
