Hinchcliffe Garners MAC Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron junior Sienna Hinchcliffe (Rochester, N.Y.) was recognized for the third consecutive week by the Mid-American Conference as its Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (April 28).

Hinchcliffe extended her stellar run of play leading the Zips to a 16-3 victory over Central Michigan recording a career- and game-high seven goals and two assists on the strength of a game-high 10 shots, all on goal, while adding three draw controls.

She has now posted four goals or more in six straight games, including five consecutive league tilts and averaged 5.57 goals, 2.71 assists and 10.71 shots per contest in seven conference games.

The Zips travel to Moon Township, Pa., to square off against Eastern Michigan in the semifinals of the MAC Championship at 2 p.m. on Thursday (April 30).
