Haley Glass Earns MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference selected Akron junior outfielder Haley Glass (Toledo, Ohio) as MAC Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Glass led the Akron Zips offense in a 3-0 series sweep of the Toledo Rockets last weekend. For the weekend, Glass posted an .833 batting average with a 2.000 slugging percentage and an .889 on base percentage.
She went 5-for-6 at the plate and reached base eight times due to a pair of walks and a hit by pitch. Glass also accounted for three extra-base hits, including two homeruns and a double while recording five RBI and two runs scored.
In the series opener, Glass went 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of singles and reached base with a walk, accounting for an RBI and a stolen base.
In game two, Glass had three plate appearance, going 1-for-2 with a hit by pitch, a double and two RBI.
In the series finale, Glass was perfect again from the plate with a career performance. She went 2-for-2 and cleared the playing surface in both at-bats, recording a pair of solo-homeruns for two RBI and runs scored. She also reached on a walk.
