Akron, Ohio – The Akron Zips open Mid-American Conference play at rival Kent State on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. Akron is coming off a 2-1 weekend defeating Youngstown State (3-1) and Cleveland State before falling to Xavier (3-1).
