Caleb Duckett is in his first season as Recruiting Coordinator and Director of Player Personnel for University of Akron and head coach Joe Moorhead in 2023, and his second campaign overall with the Zips' football program.
Caleb oversees all recruiting and player personnel activity for the program. He handles roster management, on-campus recruiting, recruiting communication along with several other responsibilities. He also acts as the team’s Pro-Liaison, setting up visits for NFL and other professional football league scouts.
A year ago, Duckett served as a volunteer recruiting analyst where he oversaw the transfer portal, the handling of the pipeline for evaluation and assisted in all recruiting operations for the Zips.
Prior to his tenure at Akron, Duckett was a recruiting intern for Wake Forest during the 2021 season. There he was apart one of the Demon Deacons greatest seasons as they went on to have an 11-win campaign, while winning the Atlantic Division of the ACC and capping it off with a bowl victory over Rutgers.
Duckett played quarterback at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., where he garnered Academic All-PAC accolades. He earned his bachelor's degree in business sport management in 2020.
