as a Sophomore (2011-12): Appeared in 10 of Akron’s first 11 games before sitting out the rest of the season due to injury … recorded four points and a career-high six boards against Hiram (Nov. 12) … blocked a personal-best three shots, in addition to scoring four points and pulling down two boards, vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 15).
as a Freshman (2010-11): Appeared in 19 games ... was third on the team in blocked shots (6) ... made his collegiate debut against Millikin (Nov. 12), recording 15 points, two blocks, one rebound and one steal ... was 7-for-10 from the field against Millikin ... had five blocked shots over his first six games ... had three games with three or more rebounds, including a season-best four boards against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 29) ... scored four points while posting two boards, one assist and one block against Youngstown State (Nov. 20) ... posted four points and two boards against Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 18), going 2-for-2 from the field.
at Jackson High School: Recorded 896 points, 658 rebounds and 112 blocked shots for his career at JHS ... helped Jackson to a 57-43 victory in the 2010 Ohio Division I State Title game, the first state title in any sport at JHS ... had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks in the title game against Gahanna Lincoln ... averaged 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in the 2010 Final Four ... named Honorable Mention All-State as a senior and Special Mention All-State as a junior ... ended his senior campaign averaging 15.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.8 blocks per game ... averaged 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as a junior, shooting 59.7 percent from the floor ... ended high school career with a 55-17 record.
