Scouting Report
The Mercyhurst Lakers come into Tuesday with a 1-5 record as they begin the transition from Div. II to Div. I.
The lone win so far was a 3-2 victory against Siena College of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. After Akron, The Lakers travel to Pittsburgh to battle Duquesne on September 17.
Paige Miller leads the attack with 59 kills and 66 points so far this season. Alia Mastromattreo and Abby Miller have provided a balanced amount of assists with 70 and 69 respectively. Alyssa Krause has recorded 11 aces while Kaitlin Murphy has a team-high 11 blocks.
What's Next?
Akron travels to the state of Michigan to face Saint Francis and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on September 13 and Sacramento State in Rochester Hills on September 14.
