Akron Set for 2025 MAC Championships

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is set to compete for the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships on Sunday through Tuesday, April 20-22 hosted by Ball State at the Delaware Country Club.
The 2025 MAC women's golf championships is scheduled for 54-holes of competition over the three-day span, starting on Sunday, April 20 at the par 72, 6,053-yard course.
The opening round and Monday's second round of the MAC season finale are slated for an 9:30 a.m. starts with tee times in 10 minute intervals. Sunday's final round is scheduled for tee times off holes No. 1 and 10 starting at 9 and 9:30 a.m. with 10-minute intervals, respectively.
Fans can follow all three rounds of action via live scoring on SCOREBOARD powered by clippd. In addition, at the conclusion of second and third round action (Monday and Tuesday) there will be a live recap show on ESPN+. The 10-team field is headlined by Kent State with a No. 51 SCOREBOARD powered by clippd ranking followed by Eastern Michigan (125), Ball State (157), Bowling Green (173), Northern Illinois (177), Akron (197), Ohio (201), Toledo (207), Western Michigan (208) and Central Michigan (209).
The Zips' starting lineup includes senior Daphne van Son (Vlijmen, Netherlands) and juniors Maisarah Hezri (Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia), Emily Liptak (Akron, Ohio) and Hridhika Vora (Mumbai, Maharashtra) as well as freshman Sohniya Chandra Mohan (Selangor, Malaysia).
First round tee times for Akron are as follows: Liptak (11:10 a.m.), van Son (11:20 a.m.), Vora (11:30 a.m.), Chandra Mohan (11:40 a.m.) and Hezri (11:50 a.m.).
