AKRON, Ohio - The Akron baseball team begins the final week of the 2025 season with a battle against Youngstown State on Tuesday, May 13, at Canal Park.
Fans should park in the West Campus Parking Deck (286 S. Broadway St., Akron, OH 44308) for Tuesday's contest against Youngstown State.

Youngstown State went 2-2 last week, which featured a pair of conference wins over Oakland. The Penguins won game two 13-12 while clinching the series with a 4-1 victory on Sunday.
Kyle Fossum hit his 20th home run of the season and Brandon Mikos did not allow an earned run over seven innings on the mound in the final game of the series.
Brady Shannon's two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Youngstown State baseball team to a 13-12 series-evening victory on Saturday.
Fossum leads the Penguins with a .393 batting average along with holding the lead in runs (57), hits (75), home runs (20), RBI (54) and a share of the lead in walks (41). Cole Smith and Fossum share the lead in stolen bases (6).
On the mound, Jacob Gehring leads the pitching staff in ERA (6.60), innings pitched (61.1), while JJ Tylicki leads the way in strikeouts (59). Three Penguins hold the lead in saves (2).
