Akron, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back on the course Monday and Tuesday, September 21-22 for the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, K.Y. hosted by the University of Kentucky.
The Course
The 54-hole tournament will be contested on the Big Blue Course at the University Club of Kentucky, (par-72, 6,242 yards)

The Field (10 Teams)
The two-day, 54-hole tournament showcases a 15-team field including Kentucky (host), Akron, Auburn, Belmont, Cincinnati, California Berkeley, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Pennsylvania State, Richmond, South Alabama and Tennessee.
Tournament Format
The tournament is scheduled for 36 continuous holes of play on Monday, starting with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes, also scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. start.

The Zips scoring five consists of Sohniya Chandra Mohan (1), Goethe Na Songkhla (2), Amara Montoya (3), Thitirat Silakham (4) and Kaitlin Kormuth (5).
The Zips starting five will open the tournament from holes No. 15-18 at 8:30 a.m. led by Chandra Mohan (15A), Na Songkhla (16), Montoya (17), Silakham (18B) and Kormuth(18A).
