SCOUTING REPORT
The Panthers come into Tuesday with an 11-7 overall record and a 1-2 record in the ACC.
With three MAC teams on the schedule (Akron, Eastern Mich., Kent State), the Panthers are currently 3-0 against the MAC this season with a sweep of EMU to begin the season.
Pittsburgh recently went 1-2 against Georgia Tech to begin ACC play. The Panthers fell 21-2 through the first two games before coming away with a 12-11 victory to conclude the series.

Luke Cantwell notched his second three-hit game of the weekend, and third of the week, as he went 3-6 with two runs scored and an RBI double in the sixth inning. David Pedanou had his second three-hit game this week as well, going 3-5 with two runs scored and a two-run double.
Cantwell leads the Panthers in batting average (.406), hits (28), doubles (10) and walks (20). Ryan Zuckerman holds the lead in home runs (5) and is tied for the lead in RBI (20). Jake Kendro is the leader in stolen bases (3).
On the mound, two Panthers have recorded two wins while Firoved leads the way with a 1.19 ERA in seven appearances while recording a team-high four saves. Ryan Reed is the leader in strikeouts (28) through five starts and 23.2 innings of work.

Blake Bowen hit .556 against the Falcons with five hits, one double, and one home run. Andrew Horvath also notched five hits in the series with Bowling Green.
