AKRON, Ohio - The 15th-ranked University of Akron rifle team opens the second half of its campaign traveling to No. 3 West Virginia for an 11:00 a.m. Great America Rifle Conference match on Saturday (Jan. 17).

Senior Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.) maintains team-high averages of 1179.67, 588.44 and 591.22, respectively, in the combined, smallbore and air rifles. Freshman Matthew Kimball (Pineville, La.) ranks second in the combined (1169.78) and air rifle (588.89) and third in the smallbore (580.89), while senior Rachael Paddock (Perry, N.Y.) is rated second in the smallbore (581.33) and third in the combined (1169.67) and senior Joey Hahn (Middle Grove, N.Y.) is third in the air rifle (588.67).

The entire Akron roster is slated to compete for the Zips against the Mountaineers.
